Vahle Spring Operated Cable Reels serve for automatic winding of flexible power and control cables and hoses used in connection with gases and liquids. Typical application: Portal- and Gantry Cranes, Dockside-Ships- and Construction Cranes, Graps and Magnets, Electric Hoists and other material handling equipment etc.

  • All cable reels correspond to current VDE and accident prevention regulations.
  • Slip-rings are rated for 500 V (AC ) and 600 V (DC ) and 100 % ED.
  • Slip-ring housing covered to IP 54, with higher protection grades available on request.
  • Average life time of helical drive springs: 100,000 working cycles.
  • Limit switches available.
  • All steel parts of cable reels are galvanized: VLF 146 - VLF 530
  • All other reels come with one coat of primer and one finish coat of epoxy-resin RAL 7031 blue-gray varnish.
  • Max. travelling of lifting speed: 60 m / min.
  • Max. travel / lift accelearation a = 0,2 m/sec².
