Schoeller Wavin Systems has developed the GLT+, a collapsible plastic pallet box, measuring 1200 x 1000 x 900/975 mm. GLT+ fully complies with GALIA and ODETTE standards, even exceeding them in many respects.

The main design feature is its low weight and smooth sides, which make additional packaging protection unnecessary. The walls of an empty box can be folded down in any order, resulting in space savings of 59%.The pallet box offers a number of extra advantages in addition to the features already mentioned. Drop doors in the sides can be opened at any time for easy access to its contents. Drainage holes in the base keep the boxes dry when stored outdoors. Cleaning is easy, and the corner construction combines enormous weight reduction with extremely high stability.

Depending on the shelving and handling system used, the pallets can be arranged on nine feet, with runners along the length and a middle row of feet, along the width and a middle row, or continuous runners around the perimeter with a single central foot to provide center stability. The pallet boxes can be fitted with up to four label holders and radio frequency idetification transponders are available on request.
