How can I do a Search at Logismarket?

Logismarket offers you two potential Search Engines: a General Search, using the upper box of the Search Engine and a Search by Category, using the drop-down-category list on the upper left.

In both cases you will have to choose first from the drop-down list whether you search for a product or a company.

In the General Search you simply write the name of the product or company you search for in the blank box, whereas in the Search by Category you can navigate specifiying the category in which the product or company could be listed.

General Search

Fill in the name of the products or company you search for in the blank box, select product/service or company and push the "Enter" button or click "Search".

Remember that, for your commodity, the Search Engine does not differentiate between capital letters and lower-case letters, neither accents, nor articles. In any case, the Search Engine is equipped with a spelling checker to help you with your search.

Should you, for example, search for "metal boxes" you will get the same results as if for "metall boxes". And if you search for "sofware" you will find the same products as for "software".

Using the General Search Engine, you will find first all Logismarket categories that correspond with your search. Thus, clicking one category, you can view similar products of different supplier companies (the number of products that comprises one category will be shown in parenthesis) at one glance. Compare similar products and select the product that suits you best.

Below the different categories, you will find products or companies that match your search criteria.

Search by categories

In the drop-down list on the upper left side, select first whether you search for a product/service or a company. Then, click the category that matches your search criteria and you will find a list of subcategories from which you simply select a more detailed category and, thus, determine your search focus. You, then, will find all products and companies that match your search criteria.

Should you search for "metal boxes", select first "Products and Services" in the drop-down list and, then, select the category "Containers, Pallets and Receptacles". Simply click the subcategory "Metal boxes" and you will find metal boxes from different supplier companies.

Search results

Using the Search by Categories enables you to determine your search focus and view products form different suppliers at one glance. Thus, you can request Multi-RFQ's to several supplier companies simultaneously or contact one specific supplier company.

Alphabetical Search

In the drop-down list on the upper left, select first whether you search for products/services or companies. Then, click the option "Alphabetical Search" which is located below the Logismarket categories.

Search results

By clicking the first letter of the product or company you search for, you will find all products and companies starting with the same letter in alphabetical order.
