“SGL” stands for Schweizerische Gesellschaft for Logistik (Swiss Logistics Association). For more than 30 years the Association has been dedicated to the use of means and methods to optimise the flow of goods on rail, road and water. Among other things, SGL guidelines specify standardisations of reusable plastic containers to make them interchangeable.

When designing the SGL container series 2000, we incorporated all our experience and new developments in the field of reusable containers. In the areas of mechanised handling, automatic identification, hygiene and ergonomic considerations, they fulfil all the demands of modern logistics, including:

• Integral label pockets
• Injected barcodes
• Perforated container walls
• Slotted base
• Offset edge for counterstacking
