Technical details
 Electronic components can easily be destroyed during production and transport due to electrostatic discharge or mechanical damage. Utz's EL warehousing and transport system provides two-fold protection:
  • The electrically conductive plastic prevents destruction through electrostatic discharge
  • The tough plastic containers protect their contents against mechanical damage, soiling and moisture
  • The EL electrically conductive plastic system offers a surface resistance of 104 ohm and a specific volume resistance of 500 ohm. The products therefore comply with the requirements of IEC 60093 and 60167.
