Durojoint PE
- Brand: Durocem
Detailed information about the product Durojoint PE
DUROJOINT PE is a ready-to-use, single-component sealer in cartridges for the elastic, adhesive and waterproof sealing of construction joints (Fig. 1), and construction, contraction, control or expansion joints in floors.
Fields of application
DUROJOINT PE can be used with all types of joints in either new or restored flooring, and above all where elasticity, waterproofing and resistance to aggressive agents are essential elements. It is therefore ideal for: engineering workshops, the chemical and food industries and sales environments.
We recommend laying the sealer several weeks after the slab has been made in order to prevent the joints from separating from the walls, i.e. when most of the shrinkage in the concrete has taken place, and certainly not before 30 days.

Method of use
DUROJOINT PE requires a clean and dry, dust-free section of joint. Put the third wall of the joint, made of pre-formed, closed cell polyethylene, into position. Prepare the cartridges and then insert the material in the section of joint using a suitable manual or compressed air gun.
Once polymerisation has been completed, cut the excess material away using an appropriate spatula. The amount required depends on the size of the section and the depth of the joint to be sealed. Width/depth: from 6 mm to 12 mm = 1/1, above 12 mm = 2/1.
Packaging
DUROJOINT PE is supplied in boxes containing 12 or 24, 310 ml cartridges. Storage
If the product is stored in its original packaging in a cool and dry place, it will remain stable and last for nine months. After opening, cartridges must be resealed and used within 15 days.
WARNING
