DUROCOLOR is a wear-resistant hardener with enhanced colours and high mechanical resistance, making it especially suitable for use by industries with high levels of traffic and goods handling operations. Its special formula based on mineral aggregates, synthetic abrasives, cement and specific additives, guarantee an excellent performance in terms of durability and bright and intense shades of colour with minimum absorption.

DUROCOLOR is ready to use and can be supplied in the various colours available from Durocem. Other colours are available on request.

DUROCOLOR is available in both Standard and HP versions.

Fields of application
The excellent mechanical resistance of this product makes it particularly suitable for use in factories, industrial sheds and shopping centres with heavy traffic and for trade and business centres: malls, show rooms, shops, laboratories, goods sorting centres, warehouses, storage centres, airport hangars, logistic centres, ceramic industries, etc.

Method of use
Spreader
Guarantees superior resistance to abrasion. DUROCOLOR must be applied dry by hand with two or more even coats on green concrete (whilst it is setting) at a rate of 3-6 Kg/m2.

Mechanical laying
This guarantees optimum uniformity of the product with the same amount of product and good anchorage to the concrete base.

DUROCOLOR must be applied dry with a mechanical device with two or more even coats on green concrete (whilst it is setting) with a uniform thickness of 2 to 3 mm. Recommended quantity 4-8 Kg/m2.

Thickness armouring
This makes it possible to undertake abrasive polishing to reveal the colour and the aggregates in the body so that the brightness of the aggregates can be refreshed and/or the colour be replaced as time goes by, just like in a grit flooring. It guarantees an excellent performance even in conditions of heavy traffic.

Thickness armouring of DUROCEM products is suitable for 'green on green' flooring whose mechanical specifications are minimum 25 RCK or as a filler for floors whose tensile strength is 150 Mpa, after preparation. Please consult our SERVICE DIVISION for more information.

Maintenance
The product does not have any special maintenance requirements. Clean the surface with acid-free, non-aggressive detergents.

Storage
Do not expose DUROCOLOR to moisture. Store in a cool, dry place. Storage time: 12 months.

Packaging
Supplied in 33 kg paper bags with moisture-proof plastic lining.

Warning
This product contains cement that could cause irritation. Avoid all contact with the eyes and prolonged contact with the skin.
