DUROCURING is a consolidating surface treatment for application on green concrete to prevent rapid evaporation of the water in the body caused by the effects of sun and wind, thus reducing the risk of cracking. It prevents absorption of water and oil, increasing its hardness and resistance to abrasion, eliminating the formation of surface dust and guaranteeing greater stability of the treated surface. A continuous film is formed on the surface and this prevents evaporation of water as the surface pores are sealed and the emission of water is strictly limited, even in conditions of exposure to intense sun or wind.

Technical specifications

  • Product appearance: colourless liquid
  • Drying time: touch-dry after 2-4 hours.
  • Fully dry after 24 hours at 20°C.

  • Coefficient of protection: 95-98% in the first 24 hours
  • Can be applied at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C.


Method of use
DUROCURING is ready to use. It must be applied to the hardened concrete surface as soon as finishing has been completed. A single coat is applied by spraying, using low pressure spraying equipment, without the need for additional work.

Recommended quantity: 180/200 gr/m2.

Packaging
DUROCURING is supplied in drums containing from 200 to 1000 litres of product.

Storage

  • Storage time in the original, unopened packaging: more than 9 months.
  • Must not be used if it contains lumps caused by frost.
  • Place in a sheltered spot until they melt.


Warning
Surfaces treated with DUROCURING may appear blotchy for the first few months after application until the excess product has been eliminated by normal use. This is caused because the amount of product applied must guarantee that an adequate protective film is created, or because of the retention of humidity in the body caused by the product. If a rapid solution is required to improve its appearance, a dust-protection treatment may be applied.
Do not use on green or light blue floors.
Standard precautions for the use of irritants must be taken when applying DUROCURING. Avoid inhalation of the product and contact with the skin.
