DNC®'s Senior L Fully Automatic Stretch Film Wrapping Machine for palletized loads is designed to fit the unit into an automatic pallet infeed/outfeed line. The basic structure consists of a reinforced frame which contains large bearings, specially designed to withstand the weight of the turntable and load. To this frame the mast is coupled, another sturdy structure along which the film carriage travels, and which encloses the electronic control unit.

The load is fed onto the turntable by conveyor. After automatic positioning, an automatic device applies the film onto the load and the turntable starts rotating gradually until the preset speed is reached. Meanwhile, the carriage begins its ascent and descent at the programmed speed, carrying out the preset number of reinforcing wraps. Once the wrapping cycle is over, the turntable progressively stops until the home position is reached. Then, the cutter arm advances and the film is cut and pressed against the load. The load then moves onto the exit conveyor and the system is ready for a new cycle.
