High-Speed Door

The Controlsa reinforced door is intended for sites where there are drafts and where efficient communication between areas is required. It is fitted with flexible reinforcement which gives the canvas rigidity and eases the rolling of the canvas. The number of flexible reinforcements may be varied throughout the length of the sheet of PVC in accordance with the intensity of the air pressure. From the last reinforcement to the floor, the canvas may be fitted with the Controlsa Self-repairing® system, which helps to prevent accidents or malfunction of the door. The lower the dynamic air pressure, the greater the space available for incorporating the Self-repairing® system. Installation of this door is recommended in places where there are strong drafts which may make it difficult for a Self-repairing® system to work properly, such as accesses into factories from loading bays, passageways with excessively high drafts, isolation of chambers with different atmospheric pressure, etc.

Vertical columns
Manufactured from surface treated extruded aluminium. Also available in stainless steel.

Rolling system
Drum manufactured from extruded aluminium, with a steel shaft, and fitted with an alignment system.

Textile-reinforced canvas
Has flexible horizontal reinforcement tapes which provide strength. It is also fitted with side stops which, depending on the placement, makes it possible for the door to repair itself in the last section of the run.

Electronics panel
Equipped with a frequency converter and programmable automation which can be connected to a single-phase circuit (220 V Phase + Neutral + Earth), programmed control of upper and lower stopping points, with acceleration and deceleration ramps, allowing speed selection and delay timer action.
Thanks to the use of the latest advances in electronics, the electronics panel supports connection to industrial data networks (profibus, modbus, two-wire connections, etc.) and also remote control of the door by means of xcada and similar.
The single-phase connection allows for an uninterrupted power supply (UPS), thus facilitating normal door operation in the event of a power failure (optional). The number of possible operations will depend on the type of door, its measurements and its location.

Electronic Safety Sensor While Closing
When an obstacle enters into the path of the canvas while the door is closing, and is not detected by the safety cell, the door features a patented electronic sensor system that will detect obstacles and reverse motor rotation, making it completely safe both for personnel and loads in transit.

Safety Cell
Prevents the door from closing when it is blocked, or reverses the direction of the door while closing.

Opening and Closing Speed
Variable, depending upon the model and the application for which the door is to be used and also upon the dimensions of the door.

Protection Level
