With the Bosch Communication Centre Mobile Security Service, logistic companies have security that reassures. Not only a worldwide monitoring of vehicles, trailers, swap bridges and containers is possible – the European network of intervention partners offers help wherever it is necessary. With these new technologies and services, value on-the-move can be protected reliably against criminal assault and when the case arises damage can be limited notably.
The vehicles/trailers are equipped with a device that combines GMS technology and GPS localization. This device regularly sends messages to the Safety & Security Operation Centre or is checked directly from the center. On a digital map, you can follow in detail where the freight is located and if it keeps the predetermined route. Apart from that, certain geographical areas can be determined where the driver is not allowed to leave or to enter. By a notification of position or special sensors an alarm can go off.
Alarms can also indicate when the freight space is opened without permission or a reaction when the motor starts. They also report the conditions of the freight, like unexpected temperature change. In case of robbery the driver can call for help imperceptibly with an integrated emergency button. In case of alarm the current dates and the position of the vehicle or trailer is transmitted to the Safety & Security Operation Centre. Via GSM- network the employees in the Operation centre can build up a voice communication with the driver or passively listen into the drivers cabin. After that they take the agreed actions. In addition to inform the local police it can mean the notification of the competent intervention partners in the respective country.
They take the contact to the authorities within the respective country and coordinate the corresponding measures (e.g. securing and return of the vehicle). In case of an accident they know the place of accident and check, if necessary, the transhipping of the goods. If the client wishes additional security the Bosch intervention partners protect the transport personally: as passenger, escort vehicle or undercover.
